Fire or Ice?

There are lots of decisions in life. But can you choose a very hard decision?

Note One.

Jade lowered her head as she went through the wardrobe mirror. It was a Sunday night and everyone was sound asleep. Jade's friends, Carrie and Mithou were sleeping over her house. Jade was lucky to have two best friends. But not the friends you were accepting- Carrie and Mithou had powers, indeed. Carrie's was secured in a cat necklace that she always had to wear and keep safe, her power was, "Star Light." And Mithou's was secured in a diamond bracelet that she had to always wear. If any of these charms break their powers will be gone. Mithou's power was "Flower Blooms".

"Make sure no one sees us!" But she was interrupted by the Mayor of Magic Land. "Excuse me, is this girl have any powers? I don't think I see any charm," Mr Golin, with his long cape and dark hair. Mithou said, "Ha, he, um, she was born with powers. Her power is, um, fire," Mr Golin smiled, "Welcome. Come, come. Come to buy a new charm." Jade said in a quiet voice, still with her head down, "No thank you," soon as Mr Golin summered away to little purple sparkles, Mithou cried, "I told you, Jade, this isn't a safe place for you to stay for the night. There are witches and wizards everywhere! Plus people are really suspicious of you! Carrie, use 'Summon Beam' to send her back!" Carrie sighed. "Mithou. Look, we'll make sure Jade is safe and unwanted. And we'll watch out for vampires… C'mon Mith, Jade really wants to explore Magic Land. And she still has 10 hours, so that's plenty," Mithou looked weird, then said, "Well, it isn't my fault if Jade gets caught and will be in Magic's Land jail for 5 years! Look, I don't know about you, but I am going home. Ok?" soon, Mithou was summoned in a cloud of vines. Jade looked really disappointed then said, "Fine, we'll go home, Carrie…" Soon, Carrie and Jade was summoned into shiny sparkles.

"Wake up!" Jade's mother drooled her up. Jade woke up and looked around. She wished she could go back to Magic Land. But no, she can't. On the way to school, Jade wasn't paying attention to whatever Miss Hudgen's was saying. When it was lunch, Jade hung out with Carrie and Mithou but they weren't talking to each other. Until… "Did you continue your trip to Magic Land? How was it like?" asked Jade. Mithou groaned and dropped her turkey sub on the floor. Carrie rolled her eyes. "We didn't go to Magic Land when I summoned you back. I practised some spells," she exclaimed. "And I tried to some Vine Practisciation with Marie last night after I went back from Magic Land," said Mithou, looking annoyed. Marie was her older sister. "Oh." Said Jade. "Duh!" they all objected. Jade sighed and rubbed her nose. I wish I had powers, she thought. It would be cool… unfortunately, Carrie read Jade's mind. Carrie recited the spell in her head, it went like this: Mind I say this spell today, the mind that is so smart and clear, can Carrie shall read Jade's mind! So, Carrie told Mithou what she read and said, "Well, if she likes powers so much, I don't get going to Magic Land is such a risk!"Carrie said to Mithou. Mithou smiled a very sly smile. "Then we should try
out," she said. Then, she and Carrie went to the Hall Rooms and Mithou carried a very, large old book. The Hall Rooms were the only place that Carrie and Mithou can talk privately. "Ok, the Spell of Changing Zodiac, the spell of Flight, and the spell of…"Mithou went through the book, while Carrie made sure no one was coming. "Ah ha!" cried Mithou. She pointed a finger to Carrie: 'Life falls again and again, as if it began again, the spell of power shall go forever,' she recited as she pointed. Suddenly, Carrie shimmered. Then, bucked, then-POOF! She turned into a cat. Mithou laughed and put a hand over her mouth. She heard footsteps coming- it was Jade! Mithou gasped, and called out to Jade, "Come! You're the only one that can help me!" Jade wondered if Carrie had died. Or got bitten by a mascot. But when she got there; there was a cat in the room! Jade said, "Ok, very funny, Mithou- turn Carrie back now. I know you're always up to your old magic tricks but…" suddenly, ghosts from 1813 appeared in the Hall Room. It was a figure of Frankie and Lulu- ghosts that were shot in the past. Frankie and Lulu was evil- very evil indeed. "Well, hello, Mithou Heron… what a pleasure to see you again." Smiled wickly Lulu. Jade gulped. What was going on? Frankie grinned. "Look who is here- a pussy cat, called Carrie!" Then, he used his evil power to vanish the Carrie complete. Mithou stared and gasped. "Stop it, you two. There's a muggle in the house!" Lulu said, "Jade? Huh. You have such a pretty face." Jade gulped. "I swear, Lulu. Frankie. If you can just go away or I'll, vine you up or I'll put flower powder right on top of you!" warned Mithou. "And give us back Carrie!" Jade said, "Um, Mithou. I am scared and it's nearly time for our Maths Lesson!" Mithou sighed. "Sorry, but, listen Jade. You're on your own. Carrie and I have a big job to finish once and for all!" she cried. Then, when the ghosts summoned away with Carrie the cat, Mithou summoned into vines away.

Jade went to the office on her own to shrub her nose. No Carrie or Mithou with her. She started to worry so much about her magical friends. What if the vanish forever? What if they get lost forever and Carrie remains as a cat then Frankie and Lulu will go after her? It was a scary thought, but she knew that her friend were strong and probably will survive…
