The Anlies

The Anlies No.2
Chapter One.
No more money.
Anna grinned as she flew over to the groceries shop to buy a certain amount of vegetables- corn, tomatoes, carrots, peas and radidash over Sarifly Town. The store was still open. That was good. She didn't want her Aunt Rita getting super mad.
" $9.50c please," said the shop keeper, scanning the whole bunch of food. Anna took $1.20c out of her pocket dress. Now where are the rest of the money? she thought rummaging through her pocket. No. She didn't have any $8.30c.
" Um. Excuse me?" asked Anna shyly. " I don't have that much to buy." The keeper frowned. " Then you must return the carrots and peas." he said. Anna gulped. This was not going good. When she flew back to her house, she kept gulping a million gulps. She remembered she had $10.50c in her saved up pocket money.
Chapter Two.
Where is all that Money?
" Are you sure you didn't drop any money?" asked Aunt Rita, checking in Anna's wardrobe in dresses and skirts.
" Positive," answered Anna, sitting on her bed. " But I did fly quite carefully, and I checked my money before I went to the store," Aunt Rita snickered.
" You know this is very serious, Anna. Look around you,
everything is money. Even your toys are money." explained Aunt Rita. Anna nodded. She'd knew it was quite true. Then Aunt Rita lefted Anna in her room to telephone some people. Anna sighed. She worked so hard for that money. Walking dogs... Washing clothes...Lawn moaning...
Suddenly, Anna's phone rang in a loud breeze. It was a message from her best Anlies mate, Emily.
" Hi, Anna. Listen, I want you to meet Pam Ranmond!
She's a fabulous girl that is the champion of all Flyathon  members! She's coming for tea at your house, I spoke to your Mom and Dad and your Aunt! Exciting or what? Call me soon!"
Beep!
The message was off. Anna sighed. Losing her own money was way important than a Flyathon. No, it wasn't.
Chapter Three.
The Race.
Pam was fabulous! She had pink hair to her shoulders. A great top from expensive malls and a pink skirt. Most of all, she had hoop earrings and chunky bracelets!
Anna thought if maybe Pam was a model, too.
" I am a flyer, really. But I sudsed my skills each day. When you fly you lose energy. But I don't. Oh, and I'm rich, you understand. I have $50.00c in my pocket money," explained Pam. Anna put her glass of tea down. " How much did you-" Anna was about to ask a question, but Pam continued.  " I have adorable shoes to make me win all the time..." But Anna didn't listen. She glanced to her best friend and Aunt Rita. They looked very interested. And Emily didn't make and face-Anlies-signs to her. Finally it was a last sentence.
" Let's have a race to test your skills," Anna's jaw dropped. " A race?" repeated Anna, half-heartily.
Emily grinned. " Come on, Anna, It'll be fun! It's just one kilometer!" protested Emily, flying to side to side.
Despite in Emily's reaction, she was glad.
I am sure Anna's going to get over it,Thought Emily, stretching with Pam. But it wasn't long before she didn't.
Chapter Four.
So What?
Emily lined up in the starting line next to Anna. But she didn't look at Anna. She was too busy with Pam about flying. Then Pam gave Emily a nod. It meant Emily can get a head-start to fly for one minute. She hoped Anna understood that head-start wasn't for her. Then Emily flew as fast as she can. Anna started flying too.
Woo Woo! Pam blew her whistle.
" Anna! This is a head start for Emily first!" yelled Pam.
Emily saw Anna gave a confused look and walked back to her house instead of flying. Emily's heart sunk. What was this all about? Wasn't it Anna's fault for taking false starts? Or was it Pam's fault for not telling?
Pam rolled her eyes. Emily thought she'd saw Anna looking hurt. " Alright, we'll practice tomorrow, without your silly old friend. I'll call you tonight. OK?" said Pam and flew off. Emily didn't say anything. She just stood on the lawn, under the night sky. She looked up. MoonJeff wasn't there. He was probably shining in a different state. Then she remembered that it was her turn to sleep over at Anna's today.
Chapter Five.
Are You Alright?
Emily quietly opened Anna's bed room door. Anna was in the bottom bunk bed, reading with a Flash Light.
When she saw Emily she frowned and kept reading and didn't say anything. Emily cleared her throat.
" Um. Anna? Are you all right?" she asked. Suddenly, the whole house turned to rage.
" What do you think!" yelled Anna. " What do you expect? You're suppose to be my best friend!" Emily was so shocked. It was the loudest and angriest that Anna ever screamed." Girls! What's all that yelling?" called Aunt Rita from the TV Room. Emily's eyes filled with tears. A tear rolled down her cheek. She spoke very softly. " What do you mean? I am your best friend,"
" Ha!" cried Anna. "Then why do you ever speak to me when Pam was here! Why didn't you tell me that there was a head start?! Why didn't you stand up to me when I was about to say something to Pam?! Huh? Some friend that'll be!" Before Emily could speak, Aunt Rita burst in the room. " Girls? Why aren't you two sleeping?" asked Aunt Rita. The crickets chirped and it was silent. " Ok, girls, Emily, I'm going to give you a lift home with my Flybike. Come on. You can sleep over tomorrow night..."
Chapter Six.
Explanation
The next morning, Anna didn't sleep well. She didn't think that The Anlies will not exist if Anna and Emily will ever be pals anymore. On the other hand, she knew that she was a little rough with Emily last night. Just then the door-bell rang. It was Emily. Anna wasn't sure that she was ready to speak with Emily anymore.
" Anna," she started. " I just want you to know that me and Pam broke up as friends," Anna shrugged. She didn't care. " And I am sorry if I have been ignoring you. Can we be friends again?"
" Yes. So there's still Anlies?"
Emily smiled. " Of course!"
" Anna!" called Anna's Mom. " I found your money in the bathroom toot." Anna grinned.
She felt so good to be back.
