FEAR THE SHADOW
My shadow had an irritating way of following me. She , the shadow, mimics what i do. If I open my mouth to speak or wave a pencil all over the place. Nobody knows what spooky things my shadow does.
It started on a Saturday evening.
It was outside, in my back yard. The leaves were rustling, the sun was shining, the breeze was winding. I was sitting on a deck-chair I'd gotten last Christmas.Suddenly, the soft gentle breeze changed.
WHOOSH!HOOSH!
All a sudden, the door-bell rang, the cloud refilled, it was like somebody or something turned back the clock. After a while, I didn't feel right, somehow I looked at my hands, shake my head three times then wiggled my toes in my shoes. They'd all felt alright, but I wasn't. it is very hard to explain really.
Then I'd realized i'd lost my shadow. In fact for the whole evening, life seemed weird.
I heard dogs and wolves roaring and howling. I could not eat supper, I couldn't empty my fish tank and do my homework and I couldn't even sleep.
The next morning I saw my shadow chucking exile against the wall.
I was close murdering the shadow.
