Chapter three

A run-through

"We're going to have a run-through of Magical World, this morning," said Mrs Jenkovan.

Her eye-brows were utterly black and even more fierce. "Okay everyone get up and go to Mr Rorgerys room, quietly- quietly! Not a single sound!"

" Brilliant!Brilliant!" whispered Cathy as we marched along. "Thank God, I went through my lines last night!"

"I'm wicked!" said Colin In his wicked voice. Colin's my best boy-mate. I call him Totta, and calls me Kristiex. Tottas part was the evil villain, Ali Bra Car bra.

My part I'm playing Loo Boo, a cheif. i just have to call out "Looly Booly".

"Does everyone knows their lines, good first up- we'll get in our position." We lined up behind the curtains, in the dark Mr Rorgery was  working on lights.

The first person on stage was Mason, he was playing Max. In a few moments,time would be my cue. I'll just have to get on stage looking for Looly Booly.After Dans lines. A swril of blackness on stage-Nows it, My cue! I rashed on stage, My heart beating fast."LooLoo Poodo" I yelled.Uh-oh, what did Ijust say? People giggled,"Booly Pooly" I tried again  everyone laughed again, "Looly...looly Booly" I finally said.

After that I ran off stage. I was sooooo embarrassed, Cathy's part was perfect. Not one mistake. I was close to running away.

After school, I was walking home sulking, then I heard  someone call my name. I spun my head around. It was Sonona! Sonona Maclean! I grinned as she strolled along.

"You look like you need a braclet," she said, Offering me one, "Anyway me and Cathys sister made them, Zada, What's wrong?"

I told her about the folly day at the run-through and then about Joe from Yesterday, his horrible trick on me. I I wondered if Sonona still fancies Joe- even though, he still going with that stinks brainless Rama.  

Mm, Joe playing this horrible trick?" she said, I think she wanted to laugh. " I don't blame you for feeling a bit down- mind that loser!"

She pulled me over fiercely."This will cheer ya up!" Then she pulled me to a store called, fluff toys. what? How was this going to cheer me up? Inside the store, she pointed to a section which has heaps of raccoons."Go on" she said calmly. "pick one", I was totally thrilled."Um, not today, maybe next week? My parents don't accept cute toys on Halloween" I said.

Once we got out. I asked, "Can you babysit me next Friday?"

"Sorry," said Sonona, "I'm out". I sighed. Then she gave me a kiss and walked off.
