Ring, ring! Comberinas alarm clock had gone off with an annoying ringing tone. It was a lovely sunny Saturday morning and that's when Comberina, also known as Heather has her All-Known-Music Idoctionations meeting at nine. Berina groaned and got out of bed. She was very tired from last night's ride. "Heather, get up! You'll be late for Berina's lesson!" her mum called. Again, Heather only scolded and got dressed.
The academy of music was not far away from her home so she will get there in time. Berina was her music teacher. "Hi, Heather!" called Berina waving at her at the receptions' desk. Heather smiled and waved back then she headed to Room 2, her singing class. "Just you wait," a voice behind her called and touched her backpack. It was Berina, looking serious with a clipboard of Classes. "Whatever is wrong?" asked Heather, confused. Berina cleared her throat. "Well, there has been a mix up of classes and teachers. The thing is that your singing class isn't room 2," she started off with. "It's Room7."
Berina groaned. That's where her former enemy is, Rachel Smith, who also goes to Berina's riding school who is the meanest person in the stables. She hurried off to Room 7, pushing past heaps of people finding their classes after the mix up. She entered room 7 and saw Rachel there, sitting on the lounge, not looking very happy. When she saw Heather, she looked up and a naughty glint was in her eye. "Why, he-llo, Heidi," smiled Rachel meanly. It's Heather, thought Heather hastily. "Good to see you. I suppose you and I have our doing vocal tests today." Said Rachel slowly. Heather rolled her eyes and shoved her bag in the Bag Corner just as her 'new singing teacher' came in. it seemed like the new teacher's name was Mrs. J. "Class, get your headphones ready and I will record your voice for the song you will be singing and that song I hope you have been practicing!" Mrs. J's brisk voice only made Heather more nervous. Mrs. J pinned the songs that each person in the class will be singing on the pinboard. Everyone broke into a noisy chatter as they scattered to the pinboard to check their solo songs. "Oh my God!" cried Emily, Heather's friend in the Music Club. "I just knew I'd be singing and recording the Hoedown Throwdown! Cool! Oh, and Heather you're doing… um, Crazier by Taylor Swift," Emily chuckled. Heather sighed. "No surprise there," she sighed when Mrs. J began to say, "OK, Kay May please put your headphone cord in this recorder, ready to sing Fashion by the Rouge Traders…" one by one, Mrs. J began to read out the names to record. "And, Heather Michaels, you're singing Crazier by Taylor Swift." It was Heather turn and she was trembling as she placed on her headphones and took a deep breath as she saw Rachel smirking at her on the cushions. Slowly, she started to sing…
